What should a puppy’s daily schedule look like?
Asked at homeWhat should a puppy’s daily schedule look like?
PupShift · Short answerA puppy’s day is built around potty trips, meals at fixed times, short play and training sessions, and a lot of sleep. For a 3-month-old: out right after waking, three meals, a trip about every three hours and after every nap and play, and a last trip before bed.

Make it yours
Use the feeding schedule and the potty break planner for your puppy’s age and your hours. The AKC’s guidance is about four meals a day at 2–3 months, three at 3–6 and two from about 6 months.

The schedule only works if everyone follows the same one. In PupShift, the meal and walk times sit on the board, everyone marks what they did, and with alerts on, a late slot rings the phones at home.
